Broke into garage on County Road 121
This photo of a suspect in the burglary of a garage early Sunday morning was captured by a security camera. La Plata County Sheriff’s Office investigators are seeking information on this suspect and a second whose photo was not captured.

The La Plata County Sheriff’s Office is seeking information about two suspects in a burglary that took place early Sunday morning.

The two suspects broke into a garage at a residence on County Road 121, west of Breen, after midnight Sunday morning, sheriff’s office spokesman Dan Bender said in a news release. They got into the garage by breaking a window. The residents were at home sleeping at the time and did not discover the break-in until later in the day.

During the investigation, sheriff’s investigators found footprints outside the garage and a photo of one of the suspects from a security camera. Investigators were still compiling a list of items taken Monday.

Anyone who knows who was involved in this burglary or other break-ins that may have occurred in the area are asked to contact La Plata County Sheriff’s Office Investigator Jim Hendricks at 382-7018.
