The fifth annual Pine River Shares Thanksgiving turkey dinner-potluck will be Friday, Nov. 17, at the old community gym on South Street in Bayfield. Serving will start around 5 p.m. All are welcome. Participants are urged, if they can, to bring a side dish, salad or dessert, and their own table setting. For more information, call 884-6040.
The Durango Community Thanksgiving Dinner will be held Thursday, Nov. 23., at the La Plata County Fairgrounds Exhibit Hall. Meals will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. with take-out meals available after 1:30.
Volunteers are needed for set-up, carving, greeters, drivers, kitchen help, serving and cleanup.

The Mancos P&D will be serving a free Thanksgiving dinner from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 23. The P&D is located at 160 E. Frontage Road in Mancos. All are welcome.
