A strong finish sealed the Durango High School boys basketball team’s fourth consecutive win.
The Demons led Grand Junction Central 35-30 at the end of the third quarter before outscoring the Warriors 17-8 in the final frame for a 52-38 win.
DHS (10-5, 6-1 Southwestern League) forced 22 turnovers in the game to offset Central’s 58-percent shooting effort.
The Demons finished their regular-season road slate 5-2. They’ll play their next three games at home, starting with their archrival, Montezuma-Cortez, at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
