The Durango High School girls basketball team squeezed out a 43-41 victory over Grand Junction Central on Saturday in Grand Junction.

DHS (6-9, 4-3 Southwestern League) won its third consecutive game after defeating Fruita Monument on Friday in overtime.
It was the sixth consecutive loss for Central (3-15, 0-5 SWL).
The Demons will return home to face archrival Montezuma-Cortez at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.
