Undoing the Bears Ears designation and opening up that area to oil and gas drilling, or any other type of mining, would be similar to what ISIS has done in Syria and the Taliban in Asia.
The ancient ruins of the Anasazi are as unique to our culture and continent as Palmyra and the statues of Buddha are to the cultures of the Middle East and Asia.
Just as with ISIS, once these areas are destroyed they cannot be rebuilt.
