Colorado Humanities announced Tuesday that Durango Independent Film Festival and La Plata County Historical Society won the Colorado Sustaining the Humanities through the American Rescue Plan social media challenge award.

Each organization will receive $1,000 in additional COSHARP grant funding.

2021 COSHARP recipients shared creative ways for humanities-focused organizations to continue to educate communities about important topics during the COVID-19 pandemic.
