La Plata County Humane Society will again host Adopt-a-Thon, a pet adoption event, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. June 3 and 4 at the Humane Society, 1111 South Camino del Rio.

The event will feature a “Yappy Hour” with cocktails and mocktails by the Thirsty Rooster Trailer Bar. There will be burgers or brats from the Coca-Cola concession stand and a 50/50 raffle. Raffle drawing will take place at 5 p.m. June 4. The winner will receive 50% of the raffle proceeds, and the other 50% will benefit the shelter.

Local radio stations XROCK 105, KIQX 101.3FM, KRSJ 100.5FM and KKDG 99xFM will be live and on-site during the weekend event.
