I have been a subscriber of The Durango Herald for many years, and I’ve always enjoyed the special feature of Durango Living. I particularly liked the recent edition that featured local homes, local trades and some amazing remodels. It is so refreshing to see real homes and the stories behind the real people who actually make the difference rather than seeing a staged showroom or something that may not seem within our reach.
I believe in promoting local small businesses and commend the Herald for placing a spotlight on the amazing talent that resides in our community. The pictorials and editorials found in this edition of Durango Living were enjoyable and enlightening, and I especially applaud the editor/designer Karla Sluis for her consistency and quality in all her articles and for a job well done.
I look forward to more entertaining editions of Durango Living, which continues to focus on the incredible resources that can be found in our community.
