Medical trainings to be held in Durango

Medical training courses will be offered in August and September at the Early Childhood Training Center, 130 Rock Point Drive, Suite C, including:

A state-approved training course, taught by a registered nurse, about how to administer medication to children in a child care setting from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Aug. 18. Cost is $45.A training course, taught by a registered nurse, about standard precautions and blood borne diseases from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Aug. 18. Cost is $20.A statewide first-aid and CPR class, which is taught by a Colorado Division of Child Care-approved vendor and meets requirements for child care providers, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sept. 8. Cost is $100 and certification is renewable every two years.Registration and payment is required for participation.
