Those of us on Medicare who take no prescription drugs and, therefore, don’t carry any Prescription D coverage are penalized for every month we are not enrolled if we ever sign on for such coverage.
Why?
Probably because the drug companies have their hands in the till and want those premiums. Thus, this was written into law, taking money out of our pockets that could better be spent on other necessities.
I have written to my congressmen and senators multiple times about this – with, of course, no response whatsoever.
Why should they care when they get full coverage at taxpayers’ expense? Is there no way to get anyone to listen to change this unfair law?
