I was appalled to read a completely false political flier sent to me by Colorado Citizens for Accountable Government – a 527 political organization that accuses Mike McLachlan of taking money from local schools and voting against $10 million toward our schools.

To the contrary, Mike McLachlan has helped to pass more than $500 million in increased funding for K-12 education in Colorado and has fought for funding for Fort Lewis College and Western State University.

This right-wing 527 organization paid more than $800,000 to the D.C. political consultant firm Targeted Creative Communications to write these reprehensible lies about our state representative. Principals of Targeted Communications have worked for Karl Rove and Newt Gingrich, so I guess this type of false vindictive is what should be expected from them.

Please don’t believe these outrageous lies, and instead vote for Mike, so he can continue to support our Colorado schools in the State Legislature.
