As an older American, I’ve lived through many political crises in this country – but I have never seen an attack on our democracy like what is happening now.
In the past, there was bipartisan opposition to lawlessness. Today, the guardrails are being dismantled before our eyes, and we must sound the alarm.
When the president defies federal judges and nobody speaks up to hold him accountable our democracy is finished.
Call and write to Rep. Jeff Hurd and urge him to say and do things to let the Trump administration know that disregard of the rule of law and the constitution is not supported by most Americans.
