Application packets for the Early Access program will be available beginning Feb. 1 at the Durango School District Administration Building, 201 East 12th St.
Durango School District 9-R has the opportunity to identify and serve highly advanced gifted children through the Early Access program. Early Access is for children younger than 5 for kindergarten and younger than 6 for first grade. The decision is based on a thorough set of research-based procedures to determine if a child is eligible.
Complete applications and screening portfolios are due April 1.
